The Brief Encounter is CAGS's series of open meetings, held every two months. The meetings were originally held at The Brief in George Street, Croydon, hence the name, but have been held at other venues since The Brief unexpectedly closed down.

The Brief Encounter with Brian Paddick
Our first speaker at The Brief was Brian Paddick, former Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, and LibDem candidate for Mayor of London.

Black History Month 2012
