Examine how world cities, including Medellin, Tokyo, San Francisco and Copenhagen,are changing and see what data tells us about the urbanisation of our planet. Free entry. Mediterranean Restaurant 12.30pm Clapham Junction Fish in a Tie Restaurant, 105 Falcon Road, SW11 2PF [corner Este Road] (Clapham Junction Station).Good food at reasonable prices.

CAGS Walk / Picnic

Matthew will lead a walk from East Croydon station (booking hall) at 10.00.Maximum of 6 miles with some gentle hills. Picnic lunch at end so bring some food and drink.Probably Tram to New Addington then walk via Finkelhole? onto Farleigh Common (Pub there) then bus back to Croydon.

Chichester Cathedral Visit

Catch the 10.36 train from Victoria to Chichester (Clapham Junction 10.42, East Croydon 10.53) arriving at 12.04. Lunch in The Dolphin & Anchor (Wetherspoons), West Street, PO19 8EL then spend the afternoon in the cathedral and gardens. Free entry. Optional extra visit by bus to Tangmere Military Aviation Museum £9, £7 concs. Return early evening.
