CAGS Walk Sydenham station to Beckenham

Part of Green Chain walk. Matthew will lead us on the walk (about 5 miles) taking in some parks,quiet streets, Beckenham Place park and the River Ravensbourne. Mostly flat and on good paths.Bring a picnic lunch for in the park and then carry on to finish in Beckenham for a pub stop if wanted. Return to Croydon by tram.Meet at East Croydon station ticket hall at 10.45 to catch the 10.57 train to Sydenham station arriving 11.10

CAGS Walk.Coulsdon South station.

Matthew leads a walk taking in Upper Woodmanstern,and Chipstead Valley. Starts with a slow but steep climb. then down to the Valley. Maximum 5 miles. Both start and finish stations are in Oyster Zone 6.Pub lunch possibly at Midday Sun ( 2 meals for £10 deal ) or bring a picnic. Meet at COULSDON SOUTH (NOT town) Station for a set off at 11.00h. Catch Train from East Croydon at 10.46 arrives 10.52 or bus 60 from Croydon.
