With food, drink, raffle , cabaret, entertainment and music, in aid of Croydon Pride Trust and Metrocharity, which runs The Bridge, Croydon's support group for young LGBT people,
Came and join CAGS and other LGBT groups in the parade (gathering 12:15 in Poplar Walk / North End), and then on to the festival in the Queen's Gardens, for stalls and entertainment. There will be a CAGS stall, also showcasing other local groups.
The first Croydon Pride for many years was held on the 28th of August, with a parade through the town centre and a festival in Surrey Street.
Cabaret headlined by Mark Bunyan and Peter Scott-Presland, to include Rainbow Singers Across Borders and a variety of Pride's Got Talent performers. Free.
A very fine bio-pic by Rosa von Praunheim about the German gay rights pioneer Magnus Hirschfeld. The film will be introduced by Peter Tatchell. Free.
There is a display in the foyer of Croydon Clocktower featuring local LGBT groups.
